Mock Trial offers real-world experience during the pandemic.  Fourteenth Circuit Solicitor Duffie Stone offers intensive prosecutor school and mock trial competition.  “Our young attorneys haven’t had the same opportunity to be in court this year due to COVID-19 and having that experience is critical,” Stone said. Click here to read the article.

The Awards and 2020 Recipients are: 

  • Ernest F. Hollings Award for Excellence in State Prosecution, General Sessions – David W. Miller, 2nd Judicial Circuit;

  • Ernest F. Hollings Award for Excellence in State Prosecution, South Carolina Attorney General’s Office- R. Kyle Senn;

  • John R. Justice Community Leadership Award- Sutania A. Fuller, 11th Judicial Circuit; 

  • The Honorable Marc H. Westbrook Excellence in Community Justice Award presented by the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice- Nina Spinelli, 2nd Judicial Circuit;

  • Donald H. Holland Lifetime Leadership Award presented by the South Carolina Association of Pretrial Intervention Programs-  to SLED in memory of Barbara Davis;

  • Outstanding Service Award presented by the South Carolina Association of Pretrial Intervention Programs- Ann Melton, 16th Judicial Circuit;

  • Solicitor John R. Justice Prosecutor Scholarship Awards-
