The South Carolina Commission on Prosecution Coordination serves as a resource for prosecutors by providing the coordination of specialized training, including technical assistance for reducing the rates of impaired driving in South Carolina. The Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor (TSRP) is a grant-funded position through the Office of Highway Safety within the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, and funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the National Association of Prosecutor Coordinators. The TSRP is an attorney who serves as a coordinator of highway safety issues between and among criminal justice disciplines in the detection, investigation and prosecution of impaired driving enforcement.
